Can a sexuality counselor in training receive supervision from a certified sex therapy supervisor?
Yes! An AASECT certified sex therapists can supervise future sexuality counselors as well as future sex therapists.
I love my primary supervisor, but I would love to learn from someone with a different perspective as well. Is that allowed?
Of course! A supervisee is permitted to have more than one AASECT Certified Supervisor during the supervisory period. Your primary supervisor can help you find the right fit.
