Course Description
Designed for psychotherapists and allied healthcare professionals who want to acquire the knowledge they need to assess and provide essential help to their clients and patients. Our 15-hour Essentials of Sex Therapy program introduces exemplary practices in sex and relationship therapy.  In this course, learn how to successfully address common sexual concerns with a wide range of client and/or patient populations.

Dr. Stephanie Buehler is a licensed psychologist and AASECT certified sex therapist and supervisor. Is this training live or recorded?

This training is entirely self-paced. You will have immediate access to all materials immediately upon enrollment. Coursework includes viewing lectures by Dr. Buehler, reading and viewing curated materials, and accessing resources. To prove your understanding, you will take a short multiple-choise question quiz at the close of each section.

What if I'm having trouble navigating the course or accessing my certificate?

Navigating a new portal can be tough. To make the process as simple as possible, I asked our Program Administrator (and resident millennial), Anneka Buehler, to record a video for you. The video includes information about navigating our website, completing your course evaluation, and downloading your course certificate.

What is your refund policy?

All requests for a refund must be made in writing via email to info@learnsextherapy.com. We typically do not provide a refund due to an inability to attend the live session, as we will be recording the session for later viewing.

Apply All $450 and 15 Hours
towards AASECT Certification

All 15 hours of continuing education can be applied towards certification as an AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist or Sexuality Counselor. At the close of the 15 hour Essentials of Sexology Program, you may choose to apply your $450 fee towards the Comprehensive Sexology Program.
