By the way, no smooshing you into a conference room with the other sardines!  The weekend groups are intentionally small so that you get individual attention.  It's more like attending a process group than a course.  After all, therapy and counseling are intimate endeavors.  Learning sex therapy should be an intimate experience, too!

****There are other requirements for becoming AASECT certified.  For sex therapists, you must also complete a workshop called a SAR (Sexual Attitude Reassessment), 50 hours of supervision with an AASECT supervisor, and 300 clinical hours conducting sex therapy under supervision.  The sexuality counselor must also complete a SAR, 30 hours of supervision with an AASECT supervisor, plus 100 clinical hours of counseling conducted under supervision.  The SAR and supervision are not included in the Blended Program.  This allows you to get a different perspective from other people working in the field of sexology, though you are welcome to take the SAR and supervision from Dr. Buehler depending on availability.
